Ormskirk is situated on the A59. The nearest large town is the
seaside resort of Southport. The big cities of Preston and Liverpool are
around 20 miles away (Preston to the North, Liverpool to the South).
Ormskirk railway station is a 5-minute walk from our meeting venue,
as is the bus station.
As Ormskirk does not have an hotel, we meet at Church House, which
is is the grounds of the historic Ormskirk Parish Church. The Parish
Church is one of only three in the country which has both a tower and a
steeple. Church House is hired by many local groups and organisations.
